About Us
A Child’s Light is a Chester County nonprofit dedicated to connecting children and adolescents, ages 2–18, who have experienced severe trauma—including physical or sexual abuse—with the mental health care they need to heal.
Too often, children and families face financial barriers, long wait times, or difficulty finding therapists with specialized trauma training when they are seeking help. A Child’s Light helps remove those barriers by providing financial resources for timely, trauma-informed mental health treatment at no cost to the child’s family.
Through our growing network of licensed trauma-informed providers and community partnerships, children can access a variety of therapeutic services based on their individual needs. Our goal is simple but critical: to ensure that no child has to wait for the opportunity to begin healing.
A Child’s Light believes that every child deserves hope, healing, and the chance to move forward from trauma. By connecting children to the care they deserve, we are helping build brighter futures—one child at a time.
